Thrive Fundraising Accelerator - Success!
After years of an unwavering idea, Thrive Philanthropy decided to pilot a new initiative. We wanted to share fundraising expertise and insider tips with a focus on groups that historically face more hurdles with raising funds - Global South organizations and BIPOC-led Global North groups. Finally - The Thrive Fundraising Accelerator grand launch! Running February-March, with 30 organizations from 21 countries across Africa, Asia, Latam, Middle East, Europe, and North America.
The Thrive Fundraising Accelerator upskills grassroots fundraising efforts to support a more diversified funding pool in the plant-based and animal movement. And taught by our very own board members and CEO, Jessika Ava, Chris Flood, Marcela Borges, Caroline Oliveira.
🤩 And what a ride it was! A 2-month intensive journey sharing fundraising secrets, how donors operate, creating strong strategy, and perhaps most importantly- building community among food justice and animal justice advocates from 21 countries. 🥬
Results are better than expected! Participants raised $78,000 USD before the course ended! Before the course only 5% or participants were “very satsified” withtheir fundraising skills, after the course, 65%!
