Thrive has amplified the plant-based, food justice movement in half the world’s countries and six continents across Asia, South America, Africa, and the Global North. And we’ve catalyzed the nascent Africa vegan movement in 67% of African countries through numerous grant and capacity-building opportunities.

CAMPAIGNS
Thrive creates a multi-country reach while simultaneously catalyzing growth of regional movements, through several joint campaigns. Organizations in multiple countries are invited to join the joint campaign and hold individualized campaigns in their own countries. All participating organizations hold their individualized campaigns during the same time, creating a cohesive, international joint campaign effort.
To date, our joint campaigns have reached over 8,000,000 people with a plant-based and anti-factory farm message and encouraged over 100 institutions to replace factory farm dishes with plant-based alternatives. Thrive’s joint campaigns include Thrive Africa Vegan Restaurant Week, Thrive Africa Vegan School Lunch Month, and Thrive Africa Plant-Powered Holidays.

Our movement-building is global with efforts placed in Asia, LATAM, and Africa.
Current, much of our effort is placed across Africa due to its emerging movement and historical lack of food systems funding and we aim to expand Asia and LATAM work over the next 2 years.
