Thrive Philanthropy’s CEO, Jessika Ava, MS, MPA, joined leaders, advocates, and innovators at the China Vegan Society | 华茻会 China Vegan Summit in Szuchou, China, where she spoke about high-impact meat reduction tactics and explored opportunities to advance the plant-based movement across Asia.
The summit brought together experts and changemakers to discuss effective approaches to food system transformation, sustainability, and public health. In her talk, Jessika shared Thrive’s global experience in supporting organizations working to reduce animal product consumption, promote plant-based diets, and create systemic change through collaboration and strategic grantmaking.
While at the event, Jessika also met with several potential grantees and local advocates, reflecting Thrive’s commitment to fostering locally led, culturally informed plant-based solutions.
