Thrive partnered with Dr. Krista Hiddema of For the Greater Good to offer an intensive strategic planning course for select grantees. This was a certificate-based course designed for organizations that aspire to be leaders in the vegan, food justice, and
animal advocacy nonprofit space.

This course is designed to significantly amplify an organization’s impact and capacity. It leads participants through the process of creating or improving an organizational strategic plan, marketing plan, fundraising plan, and organizational growth plan.

About the Instructor

Dr. Krista Hiddema is a renowned expert in
organizational development, work, and leadership, and has consulted with organizations globally, large and small, to prioritize the health of their workplaces. She holds a doctorate in social sciences where her research focused on the need to utilize ecofeminist principles of care, compassion, and collaboration in matters of nonprofit board governance and leadership, which lead to her developing The Care-Based Model of Non-Profit Board Governance™. Krista holds a master’s degree in organizational development, an undergraduate degree in
